No Ash. Don't you remember, they all sounded like crap to you.
Seriously though, you would have saved a lot of money if you found some Dreams that you liked, instead of paying $1000+ for your K's and Artisans.

I never said that, I simply said I haven't heard one that really stands out to me. Whereas my K HD and Artisan did. Besides, I don't think I could ever find a dream to match that of the HD rides dryness, complexity and husky, washy undertones, and unique 'clicky' crash sound.Levi. wrote:InSight. wrote:L.O.L. So does that mean you are getting rid of the logos?
Re: The Dream Cymbals (and gongs) Thread.
I'm gonna give it another week or so, just to be sure.Rubber314chicken wrote:J. wrote:so I realized today that my 20" vintage bliss is the most versitile ride I own. awesome.

I like the 'dream' logo. But the 'Bliss' just looks cheap and childish to me.J. wrote:I'm gonna give it another week or so, just to be sure.Rubber314chicken wrote:J. wrote:so I realized today that my 20" vintage bliss is the most versitile ride I own. awesome.

well it since it is paper thin that makes sense. it has the ability to really open up because of its thinness
Re: The Dream Cymbals (and gongs) Thread.

Re: The Dream Cymbals (and gongs) Thread.
I love a cymbal the effortlessly opens up and presents it's natural tone at incredibly low volumes. Especially due to the fact that I use A LOT of dynamics in my drumming.

Congrats Dave, I'm happy for you! sounds like you got a pretty great deal!!
Re: The Dream Cymbals (and gongs) Thread.
Yea, im thinking about hats next, i have a bit of saving to do but it gives me time to try stuff out! Im really considering dreams for hats, I think a conatct/ bliss or a contact/energy combo would be great. The guy Virtualcymbals.com has started pairing 16"s which is cool, gives me and idea of what works.
