Levi's Snares
Here's my modest collection of snares.
-14x6.5 Zebrawood Stave, Fiberskyn Ambassador over Hazy 300.
-14x5.5 Peace Brass, Aquarian Texture Coated over Hazy 300.
-12x5 Sonor Force 3007, Coated G1 over Amb Snare Side.
-14x12 Premier Birch Marching Snare, Genera Dry over Hazy 300.
I don't have any good pics of the Sonor or the Premier yet, but I'll get some soon.

Thanks, I think that's one of the only goodish quality pictures I've ever taken in my life.
Sure. Do you want me to pay for the plane tickets? Or will you take care of that yourself?InSight. wrote:Can I come to Queensland to try out that Zebrawood? I love it!
And Charles, I don't want to quote you(haven't figured out Multi Quote yet) but thanks anyway.

That would be great of you, if you don't mind. I mean, you're already lucky that I'll be visiting.Levi. wrote:Sure. Do you want me to pay for the plane tickets? Or will you take care of that yourself?.InSight. wrote:Can I come to Queensland to try out that Zebrawood? I love it!

No, I think it's an African wood. If I remember right, it's native to Cameroon. Apparently it's endangered now, so it might be hard to come by.
The quality on the Peace snare is great. The way I've got it tuned now, it sounds tight, ringy and cutting. Peace have definitely lifted their quality control heaps lately.
And Jeffrey, thanks.

that's good to hear, because my bop-kit is a peace and its just soso. But then again it was just a beginner kit.
Re: Levi's Snares
Yeah, I think their entry level stuff is still fairly poor, but the high end snares and kits are really nice.

Don't be surprised if you wake up one day and the zebrawood is gone...
But don't worry, I promise I will give it back soon enough.

You know, I probably wouldn't be angry if you did steal it. I'd just be amazed that you would fly over from Sweden just for my snare. That's quite an honour.

Yeah I know. I've been playing the Peace more lately, and I'm really digging it. Like, it's just sounding so amazing right now.
Also guys, I should have pics of my Premier and Sonor snares up tomorrow.
