Official Spizzichino Thread.
I thought it would be nice to have a Sizzichino thread here as well as the PDF, so I brought together the best from the PDF thread and put a final copy together. It's very similar, just a few extra links (**Make sure to check out the rarevintagecymbals.com link**) and some extra pictures. So enjoy.

A small quotation on cymbal alloy history:
In 1991, Roberto moved to Pescia, Tuscany. It was there, in Pescia,
that he has remained, working on his own. Until a few years ago,
Roberto worked with B20 bronze from a supplier in China. Many cymbal
factories buy material from China because it is very inexpensive.
However, the material became so inconsistent that Roberto was throwing
away about 50% of what he received. He found a new source of material
in Turkey, and for the last 3 years, Roberto has been using Turkish
bronze. He has never stopped experimenting, always looking for
improvements.
- Some say the 20” and 22” Sabian Artisan Light and Medium Rides were a
response to a spizzichino. Which definitely says something, if a large
company is trying to rival and almost 'imitate' a small company.
Some information about prices:

Roberto wants to have a standardised price list and same prices for all. Visiting the factory saves on shipping, costs nothing and IS priceless. |
Others say:
For a 22” Ride it is roughly $1,000 Asian Alloy (with shipping) and $900 Turkish Alloy.
Although not sold in stores, R. Spizzichino cymbals are available in the U.S.A. For information, email jaz@nfdc.net.

Re: Official Spizzichino Thread.
Cheers, Dave.
Yes, I'm envious of all those you have been lucky enough to acquire a Spizz. I'll definitely keep my eyes and ears open for any lurking around, I'd love to add at least one to my collection.
I love his kit's, although according to Matt.B, there is less than a dozen in existence. Lucky buggers! I'd love to hear those kits, or better try one, or better, own one

Crap... does this mean I'm the only one that didn't like the kit much?
Of course all I could hear was the ride.
