Bands you've seen live?
I don't really care about local bands of course. just the big guys.
AJ's list will probably school us with warped tour and all that though. haha.
here's my lame list.
-RHCP
-Gnarles Barkley
-Maylene
-Norma Jean
-Underoath X2
-some brutal bands that opened up for UO the second time I saw them. i think they were pretty big.
-Circa Survive (front row right in front of anthony the whole time! met steve after the show!!)
-Pelican
-Thrice
-Explosions In The Sky
-Smashing Pumpkins
-Nashville Jazz orchestra. (excellent)
uhh I don't remember the rest..
(you just got mod'd ..... get it its like punk'd but only different)

Re: Bands you've seen live?
Not as many as I would have liked to. To be honest, not many good names make it over here, and when they do I can never make the 2 hour drive to Melbourne to see them. That, and I spend all my money on my kit.

Re: Bands you've seen live?
TSO twice and Neil Zaza. I forgot about a Symphony X concert, and I had to play a concert the night of a Dream Theater concert (which my drumming buddy went to and got portnoy's stick)

Re: Bands you've seen live?
A lot of those were warped, but I do go to a lot of local shows. A ton of bands come through Rochester.
Jeffrey, if by "****ty brutal bands" you're referring to TDWP and Saosin, then i'll smack you. I don't like TDWP at all, they probably fall into that category, but Saosin is not brutal or ****ty! That's probably not even the right tour though, haha.
Edit: J, out of all those bands i've seen, I'm still EXTREMELY jealous that you've seen Circa. How tight were they live?

Re: Bands you've seen live?
Yeah man, Rochester's great.
I used to like TDWP, can't stand them now.
I want to see them so bad. I can't believe I haven't yet. Grr. Steve's drumming is so great, he's one of my biggest influences for sure.
