Yes, this forum is phpbb version 3. I believe it will take version 2 code as well.

phpBB is the forum software, its based off the language php and is a bulletin board, hence phpBB. version 3 is the version. As in there were 2 versions that were made before this, and they improved on each one a lot to get the next.

yeah i know how to edit php but not write it. my website is based in css and php but i just used templates

We should definitely have a cymbal forum. As so many (including yours truly) have cymbal acquisitions disease, and forum to even look at others cymbals for a fix would be nice.
