Thanks...
And I do love my snare to death, I just don't find it unique like Levi's. Hah.

Thanks, that really means alot, man.
Skinny. wrote:Yeah, my snare is pretty damn generic. I didn't think I'd get any votes compared to Levi's Zebrawood. Hah.
Haha, thanks. Really, for my next snare in my collection I want either a 14x8 maple or an Acrolite. And yours is one of the sexiest 14x8's I've seen, with the Champagne Sparkle wrap and everything.

Why? Sam's snare is great, and I would love to have it, but it's just a regular 14x8 maple, which is fairly common. Mine is an exotic stave, so it wouldn't be as common as Sam's, well there wouldn't be that many 14x8's with Champagne Sparkle, but you know what I mean.
Wow, I sound like a dick saying that. I basically said yeah mine's good and Sam's is just average. Sorry Sam, no offense against any of your gear at all.

Re: The Snare of the Month: July
best felts is already won by me ¡This Cheese is Burning Me! hahaha
we can really do best drummer until we see everyone! Ill try and borrow my girlfriends camera and get some nice photos of my kit when the bliss comes and then ill make some videos of me doing some stuff.
Im open to requests, ill probably do a jazz video (new orleans stuff), a rock/pop video (probably play to some blink182 or fightstar) and maybe a latin. does that sound good? maybe a video of me playing to a maroon 5 song or something aswell. Or maybe a soula boy cover hahaha
But yea best drummer, funniest member, most loved member, they will all be done.

Re: The Snare of the Month: July
we should do some with like the really cheesy yearbook superlatives, like "most likely to get arrested", "most likely to be famous" "most likely to marry someone twice their age"
goofy stuff like that.
goofy stuff like that.
Re: The Snare of the Month: July
We should have the classic end-of-year-awards, but not at the end of the year, such as most knowledgeable, most funny, best avatar, thread of the year etc. Though with so little members these awards can be a bitch.

I've got 2 drum modules and a few electronic pads laying around... does that count ?
haha.
I also think that's a great idea, when more people can get some audio/video up.
I've been so lazy man... I've got soooo many tracks I could post, but never do.
Most of them are just kinda boring though. Recording work I've done for other artists.
But still.... I could throw some of it up here if you guys wanted to hear a bit.
My brother just got a really nice Sony video camera, so one of these days I'm gonna borrow it from him and shoot a few videos of some covers and stuff. I've wanted to do that for years, so I'm pretty excited.

Matt i've got an e-kit as well! TD-3. I think Charles wins by default because he has a TD-12 (I think) which is far nice than either of ours.

Well, it looks like July is over. I concede defeat, congrats Sam.
And when will we get pics of your new Pro M? It sounds like it's going to be pretty tasty.
