Barrett's Catalina Club Jazz

So here it is...I will get more/better pics when I put it together with the Catalina Club Rock...these were taken with my iPhone...

Drums: Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz
14x18 Bass (I have messed around with tunings trying it in the high pitched bop range to a deep punchy hip-hop sound...right now it is somewhere inbetween but closer to the hip-hop sound)
14x14 Floor
8x12 Rack (both toms are in the "Bonham" style of tuning...high reso/medium batter[I use this style of tuning for all my toms])
5x14 Snare (I have not messed around with the tuning of it but I got it sounding ok today)

Cymbals:
Zildjian K Light 24"
Sabian SR2 Thin w/4 rivets 22"
Dream Bliss "Swamp Hats" 16" (I like these hats but I am in need of some brighter hats and want to stay in the big range however I don't mind going to 14" again)

haha! I like the 24" dream ride - Jeff has one. Tried on out the othe day and love it a little more than the Light Ride, may have a litttle more wobble but that click sound is to die for ;p

I think it's a Bliss Half Cup ride or something - something about the crown being different?

I actually sold the Dream to Jeff...I like my K Light way more...the Dream was great however it is not as versitile as the K Light.

I like Both, i prefer the look of the K by far, I like both though.
I checked out yout kit barrett, i really like it, very classy looking!

wow haha. didn't know that I'll admit the look of the K Light is much more appealing to me, but however, I like flat ride's too

I want to see this with the Club Rock kit. You did plan on 'combining' them, right?

I got to combine them today. I am at work now I will upload pics to the thread on the PDF later. I am using everything except for the 13" rack Tom and the snares. It is really fun to play. It is a combo of Steve Jordan, mitch Mitchell, and Jack white's new kit.
