lulz, stupid Melbourne pricks. I'm still not 100% sure about the snare stand, it's definitely much, much easier to position, but I feel like it has lost a bit of resonance..

honestly, try different heads, and don't tighten the basket too much, and it won't make as much of a difference in the resonance.

Yeah, I'm loving the clear ambassador combo at the moment, although the batters i'm using were the resos on my old kit, so they're a tad worn, still have plenty of life in them though.

I tried suede emps on the batters for a brief stint, didn't like them at all. They sounded dead, and the feel reminded me of my friend's old Accent beginner kit with the same type of heads, it's hard to explain but I just didn't like them. I switched to the ambassadors, and it made it all better, and I smiled. And then ¡This Cheese is Burning Me!

i haven't played any remo heads in a looong time (not counting my FS reso)
