If i bought all the cymbals that I liked, lord, I'd have a whole bunch of cymbals.

the tricky part would be picking which ones to play, i only have two cymbal stands and my hi hat stand.... that would be tricky.

I have my main cymbals which will be:
- 16" hats (a/z) (buying this week)
- 17" Stagg DH EXO Raw Bell crash (no logo) (own)
- 21" Sweet Ride/ Sabian 21" AA dry ride (buying one of these this week)

Then i also have a mini china and a few splashes and clamps/stands for them. They aren't used often but if i need them they are there and i can set them up in a jiffy.

I would also like a 22" HD ride, a 22" Stagg Vintage Bronze ride and a Manhattan Jazz ride for back up rides. Another Crash (19" vault maybe) would be nice aswell for my right hand crash.

I could get great mileage out of those cymbals!

I'm unfamiliar with the AA Dry Ride, but the Sweet Ride is a GREAT cymbal. I'd highly recommend it.

I just bought the first component to my new hihats. To everyone's surprise, I'm not getting the 15" HHX Grooves. You'll be pleasantly surprised with my new hats.

I don't see why it wouldn't sound good. This time around, I'll be getting a heavier bottom, so the definition won't be as weak.

I'd love to take it to GC to try out different combinations, but I don't think they would let me take cymbals off the rack to keep trying different combos. They'd look at me as if I had two heads or some ****.

well honestly man, just go to GC and try out combos. who cares what they think. they can't really tell you to stop doing that.
I thought an 18" artisan crash would be amazing over my AA rock. nope. you just gotta try them out sam.

I know. It's just that in order for me to try different cymbals, I'd have to get them to take each one down because the cymbals are like, locked on to the rack. So I can't take as I please. It's beat.

And it's not like I'm looking for a top, which would be the most crucial part. I'm after a bottom, so something like an AA Rock Crash should suffice... I won't make any guarantees though. Hah.

well yeah the top is the most important part of the hat combo. but like I said artisan crashes are beautiful yet, I didn't like it as a bottom.

but anyway I'm giving you a hard time. I'm sure like an A rock bottom or Z custom will work beautifully.

I've been thinking about a Z Custom, to brighten it up just a bit so it will cut through the music. Because my Dreams were just too mellow it seemed. The Z Custom will definitely be something I need to try out.

I mean, they DO make K/Z hats for a reason, right? So I bet that would be a solid choice.
