I hope these hats work out for you man, you'll have to put up a recording or a video or something once you get them.

K/Z is always a good combo. so if you choose a Z to go with it then it would be a good chioce

No. I won't have the money for another few days. But I'll be browsing eBay until then. Now that I think about it, I would like a brighter cymbal on the bottom for the reasons I stated above. I need to get my ass to GC soon...

Yeah, was the combo any good? Albeit, I would get a Rock crash, but it's generally the same thing.

yeah I remember it being alright. it had this annoying ring to it I think. unless that was a different combo. I'm pretty sure I would have really liked a heavier bottom. the medium z custom didn't really seem heavy enough.

Yeah, I'm sure the Rock version would be much better. I'm going to try that combo whenever my K arrives.

Z customs themselves are pretty thick, no? And it is a medium?

Anyways, I think someone needs to totally reverse sizes... for fun sometime.... 10" kick, 16" snare, 14" floor and 20" rack. Then 22" hats, 12" ride and 16" crash.

I'd be entertained by the sound of it. Though I suppose if you knew what you were doing with a drum key....

I feel like the 10" kick would get totally lost with a 16" snare and a 20" rack tom...

You'd have to mic it really well. Which would present a challenge in itself.

I might try playing my set like that sometime..... for fun?

Well... I wouldn't rearrange the set... I'd just play one drum like it is another.... Could lead to some cool grooves or fills though...

Well, if I did change them around how would I mount my kick as a rack tom and rack tom as a kick?
