It seems that you're trying NOT to get wood hoops. Everytime a deal passes you you look for another, why not settle with wood hoops.

I got my bottom hat today. I took my 16" K Dark Crash to the store and tried a few different bottoms. I ended up with a 16" Paiste Twenty Crash. A bit odd of a combo, but it sounds killer.

Yeah, they are pretty frickin sweet. they could never replace my 14" DE/T hat combo, though.

I want to see Sam's hi hats ASAP, I will post pics on mine, too.

I really want to try your Dark Energy/Trad. Combo, I believe TMF (Sacha) used that combo and loved it.

Ash - It is an unbelievably versatile combo, it's seriously the perfect 14" hi hat. Anytime you come to the Southern Oregon coast, you can try them out!

so, in good news, a guy just sent me an email about my guitar, although he asked, "is this one that only has knobs for volume and tone?"

and it is, so it's what he asked for, but i kind of think he was probably wanting something with more adjustable knobs and more of an built in EQ... we'll see though.
