For my "dream kit", I plan on having both an 18" and a 20". Tuning each one significantly different. For different setups, moods, etc... I'll start out with the 18", though, and add the 20" on later down the road.

are you not digging the 17" hats?

I am not digging them, man. They feel absolutely awesome. Very comfortable size. But they are just not tight enough, nor are they defined enough. I need something that can handle a bit more intricate hihat work, and that won't get lost in the mix so easily. While, of course, still retaining a dark and rich complexion.

Most definitely one of my all time favourite kits. Everything about it is perfect. And I'm glad to hear that you found a 24" K Light.

i think he had considered ordering one, but i don't think he ever put in the order....

i'm willing to say Sam will clear this up for us eventually....

I haven't ordered anything yet. Originally, I was going to order the Bliss and new heads, but I decided that I would just get the K Light instead. I still haven't ordered anything though.

And I don't have a Groove Ride (yet), it's just on my list of things to buy.

Also, I don't play with traditional grip, I just like playing my snare like that. I've grown accustomed to it, probably just because it makes rimshots easier.
