Levi's Kit, Gretsch, Dream, Meinl.
So, nothing most of you haven't seen back on PDF, but I'll post it here anyway.
Since these photos have been taken I've changed to a three piece setup, so I'll have to get some pics of that soon.
Specs if anyone wants them.

Thanks.
I quite like the Fiberskyn. If you like a regular coated Ambassador, you'll like the FS Ambassador. It's just as open and lively, but it has a liitle bit of a different tone. It's a hard to describe, but it is a very interesting head.

Mmm, I love your kit Levi. Are you running a 20" Kick? Or are those pictures/the size of you kit deceiving?

I have endorsed the FS snare batters for a while now, i have a review of the fiberskyn on my snare on PDF ill find it for you now:
"A quick review for the jazz and funk guys:
Remo Fiberskyn Ambassador (FA3) snare batter:
- I've always been a Remo player and this head really reminds me why I choose remo.
- For me and my playing it is the perfect snare head.
- I currently have it tuned around medium - medium high tension but it can really do pretty much anything and sounds great. It retains a lot of tension even when tuned low so it doesn't feel like your playing a marshmallow if you're going for a low phat sound. And it can be tuned extremely low and still feels and sounds great (no ripples straight out of the box, not even on the snare yet).
- At my current tuning it produces a real wet, jazzy, smack with a little ring which is very nice, whilst still retaining that"phat" sound. It may well be the perfect jazz snare head. You can really play into this head it just feels great.
- Although i said earlier its more for the jazz and funk guys it sounded great in hip-hop (rim-shot heaven) and even in some rock applications (it really seems to make my snare drum louder). Its just a real groovy head.
- BRUSHWORK! this is why its for the jazz guys, what a fantastic head for brushwork it just sounds fantastic. This head produces the best brush sound i have heard its really defined and retains alot of volume with the brushes compared to the coated amb i was using before. This head really excels with brushwork.
- Final thing is this head just looks great
-Overall all great head and i will continue using these on my main snare unless Remo makes something better It sounds great in every application i have used it in."

thanks. I wish, it's a 22x16, which is a actually a pretty good size. I think for my next kit it'll have either a 22x14/15 or a 20x16.
Thanks Dave. And I would have said pretty much everything you just said, but that's alot of typing.

Haha, yes and im a slow typer so it took me a while
I felt it deserved it though, as the FS is always overlooked as a snare batter !

Yeah, it is a very nice head. I think next time I might just go with a coated G1, but I'll probably come back to the FS somewhere down the track.
One thing I don't really like is the way the film sort of bubbles up when it gets a bit worn. I get a bit nervous playing it at shows because it looks like it may give way at any moment.

Argh such a nice kit. I love the contrast of the FS with the black colour of the drums, it's gorgeous.

Thanks. It's actually a dark blue metallic finish, but yeah it does look black in the pics.

Thanks. Your kit would look amazing with a FS reso. I like the reso you've got now, the shield is a nice touch, but it doesn't get much better than an FS.

18". Lately, it's been sounding a bit brighter, obnoxious, and small. It's probably just my ear. I hope I fall in love with it again soon.

Yeah, I'm so glad we have a distributor over here. A while back, I was listening to all the sound files on VirtualCymbals. I fell in love with the Dreams, and I was almost about to order some, regardless of the cost of the shipping. Then someone told me about cymbalsplus.com, and I was so happy, I think I bought my hats that night.

If they had them here, I'd probably order me a Dream China and maybe a 24" Bliss or Contact
