I only clean the tops. Just because that is what I see the most, and with an overhead drum cam at some concerts they look good. I let the bottoms have whatever on them.

I was TheElectricCompany on the PDF. I didn't post my set very often because at the height of my picture posting days the big fad was eight-piece sets with more cymbals than the poster knew what to do with. I always felt pretty out of place, plus I used to have a rack, which looked horrible on these drums, so I liked to keep it a little hush-hush.

I'm gonna try and get new pics up by the weekend.

thats what's nice about this forum. Its not just a bunch of people with HUGE kits. So far most of the kits posted have been relatively small

And the vibe from the posters here is so different. Even if someone were to post their Neil Peart tribute set, I know they wouldn't be any less welcome. Everyone just seems happy to be here. It's cool.

Uh oh. I was just putting a new head on my wing when I noticed two significant chips in the bearing edge and a possible split/gash in the shell running along the bottom of the bearing, along the inner-most ply.

ouch, that sucks man.

Yeah, I have no idea when/how this would have happened. I should be able to get it fixed fairly easily I think.
