I also already received my birthday present. A Macbook 2.0GHz. I'm very thankful towards both my parents and grand-parents for this gift.

Actually, I think I'll get myself a real nice birthday present. It's just always hard to get it on time, or having it awaiting. Or perhaps I'll wrap it and sit it to await the day. I love anticipation like that, it gives me something to look forward to. As I've had some miserable BD's in my life.

Went out last night to friends house, just chilling and stuff, was cool. Just had haircut which I usually hate, but I actually quite like it.

I have a really nice cowbell, i rarely use it.

I have the LP Ridge Rider rock or something like that, it's got the yellow bar across the edge, it's a beefy cowbell too, i really like it.

I went through a phase where i bought a lot of little percussion nic nacs, cowbell, jam block, sambago bells, etc etc.

it was fun, but i exhausted myself on the little percussion toys, maybe i'll pull them back out and have some fun with them some time... at the same time, maybe not...

I wanna get a percussion rack with the rods to mount all of that stuff. Then I'll put it by my hi hat so I have a bunch of fun stuff right there.

I wanted to do that too a while ago. But I decided to focus on cymbals and drums rather than hardware.

yeah matt I have a blue LP ridge rider. The yellow one is my favorite.

I have mine mounted from my main ride stand like above and between the floor tom and the bass drum. half way under the ride. it's awesome.

that's where i first had mine mounted when i got it, then i had it mounted off the bass drum, but with the size of it, mounting it off the kick hoop wasn't comfortable, the place i had it the most was above the floor tom to the right of my ride, kind of where your 20" but lower.

yeah I use to have it to the right of the floor tom.

I want a kick hoop mount.

yeah, that's a nice location, but like i said, my bell was just too large to go there, it got in the way of my knee when i played...

yeah that thing you have is large and really flat. mine is really small and clicky sounding. I dig.
now I just have to go a boom clamp, straight stand, and my jam blck back from my friend.
