40 bucks is pretty decent.

not really a particular day or anything... just try to let me know ahead of time which day you're going.

yeahh, I;m pretty sure forks will have that high energy...

Ah sick jeffrey,
you dont have any metal snares, do you?
It'd probably be great for you, and they go for cheap.

nope no metal snares for me yet.

I really like this snare, it's a great contrast from my 14x8 and my 10x5.

14x5.
I like it better than the pearl 13x3 brass piccolo I almost got a while ago. It has more body than the piccolo obviously. same amount of crack.
the CS snare would be deadly with die cast hoops..

and I'm going to take the badges off of my pearl snares. I hate them. and I think I'm going to take them off of my 'epiarch'.

so you'll take the badges of the epis and just have random holes in the shell?

Not terribly noticeable, depends on the color.

Yeah.
I'd think that would look kind of weird.
Especially on the kick. atleast on the Toms you can turn them so you dont see the holes.

Why would you take the badges off of the Epiarch? And why did you put quotes around 'Epiarch'? Haha.

idk. I like a simple look like how my snare is.
because there's nothing that makes them 'epiarch' drums. to me there are just assembled keller shells. my very own opinion of course.

and yeah the screws on the badges are very small. I could just turn the toms the other way, and I wouldn't really care about the bass drum.

I like the epiarch badges, they are quite sleek IMO. But its your kit J. Also $50 bucks for a CS snare, nice one, even me likes that snare at that price haha.

Also i just found out that my dream will be here in a few weeks as they are re-stocking. I don't mind the wait though as i have no gigs coming up soon.

Finally, i really really want short stack toms, well more like a short stack tom, 10x5 or 10x5.5. I tried out a 4 piece today and couldn't really get it how i like like it, if i had short stacks i could. Maybe get mine cut down??

yeah, if you can afford to get some diecast, or maybe permanently borrow some from your school or something, do it man.

i'm still waiting from a reply to my email to see what day would be good for him, but at the end of the day it's all dependent on if Fork's has what I need...

haha die cast hoops would cost more than what I'm paying for this drum. if only my 14x8 had 10 lugs... but i would love some die cast hoops. just not a priority yet.

alright. did you call them yet?
