As excited as that makes me that I'll get to see Steve, when I hopefully catch one of the shows on this tour... kind of a bummer that JJ won't be around too. Especially since he's been John's touring drummer for like the last 6-7 years, I think.

I've always preferred Steve over JJ, but JJ definitely brought plenty to the table.....

I'm with Matt, I've always been a much bigger fan of Steve, anyway.

The only reason I'm curious is simply because of how long JJ has been with him. Just makes me wonder if JJ's got other work plans lined up now and couldn't/didn't want to come back, or if John just specifically wanted Steve to play with him on this tour ?

Doesn't really matter, I guess... I'm excited.

I'd guess he's usuing what he usually uses, 17" Trad crashes. Thats what it looks/sounds like anyways
