OH nevermind, its showing up now.
I though you meant fingerjointed.

finger joints will be implemented, as I have the bit, but the person that made those hoops did not. Finger joints will definitely make the hoops stronger.
Do you guys think that it would be a good idea to get a coving bit to make those style wood hoops that connor showed, or make them Yamaha style?

I like them too but they seem more prone to breaking.

i would just go with the solid yamaha style hoops, not the ones like connor posted, but that's just my preference..... or you could offer both as options.

I'm getting a new lathe this month after my birthday. It will be able to accept anything 29" in diameter and under.

Arughhhh!!!! Use a pushblock mate. I don't wanna see anyone loose any fingers.
I've got one of these bad boys:
My dad bought it for me at the woodworking show after the guy ripped a 1/4" quarter piece of wood and had fingers to show when he was done. Very nice tool.
Anyways, I'm interested to see how you mount this on the lathe because I've got one I'm working on (its glued up and that's about it....) and I need to get it turned. I've also got another project that's been sitting in my garage for ever that needs to be finished.......
